*IMPORTANT* BIG GAME PARKING INFORMATION

Important Parking Lot Information (map attached)

• Maples Lot will be monitored from 8:00am-1:30pm (or until lot is full, whichever comes first). Only MBB parking permits or disabled placards will be allowed in. After 1:30pm, the lot will be open for GA parking.
• Lot #9 will be open at 7:00am for GA parking
• Lot #2, Galvez Field (#5) and Master's Grove will be open at 8:00am (correct permits required)
• All other football parking lots will open at 10:00am
• As always, Nelson Road will be staff and monitored starting Friday night (11/20). Only cars with proper permits (Sunken Diamond, STH, Vendor) will be allowed down the road.

Free Shuttle Service (specific map to come later)

Three stops will be used at the remote parking lots, expanding as the lots fill so people do not have to walk from one end to the other.

The remote parking lots, in order of preference, are:

• Lot L-17, off Stock Farm Road at Campus Drive.
• Lot L-18, off Stock Farm Road, behind Lot L-17.
• PS-5 parking structure, next to Lot L-18.

Pregame: Three (3) buses will be running from 12:30pm-5:50pm taking fans from Lot L-17, L-18 and PS-5 to the entrance of Frost Amphitheater (on Galvez Street just west of Campus Drive). From Frost Amphitheater is a short walk to Stanford Stadium (about .3 miles).

During Game: One (1) bus will continue the above loop from 5:50pm-7:00pm.

Postgame: Six (6) buses will run from 7:00pm-9:30pm, picking fans up by Frost Amphitheater and returning them to their vehicles in Lot L-17, L-18 and PS-5.

Driving directions to Lots: Recommended remote lot route is Highway 280, exiting eastbound on Sand Hill Road. Turn right on Stock Farm Road. Go two (2) blocks and the parking lot is on your left.

Signs and parking control personnel will direct cars to designated lots, starting with L-17, continuing to L-18 and lastly filling PS-5. Shuttle buses will make stops accordingly.

Other Big Game Information

• Ticket office and will call open at 10:00am
• Gates to Stadium open 2 hours prior to kickoff (normally 1.5 hours)
• Sports Illustrated/Nissan will have a large tent setup across from the Hammer Throw area, in front of Cardinal Plaza. This is part of their countrywide SI/Nissan Heisman Tour promoting the 75th anniversary of the Heisman Trophy

END OF BIG GAME SPECIFIC INFORMATION

Weekday Parking (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

All parking for most Stanford Athletics' events are first-come, first-served.  Weekday parking on campus before 4:00 p.m. requires a resident/commuter parking permit.  Day visitors may purchase a parking permit to park in the Track House Lot located on the corner of Galvez and Campus Drive.  You may purchase up to 8 hours of parking at any machine.  The machines accept credit cards, cash or coins; correct amount of money is required if you do not use your credit card, since these machines do not issue change.

Limited coin meter parking ($1.50/hour) is also available in the Maples Lot located next to Maples Pavilion and in the Varsity Lot located next to Stanford Stadium and Klein Field at Sunken Diamond.  Guests are free to park in the permit lots following the enforced parking hours (after 4:00 p.m.).

Evening and Weekend Parking

Due to numerous events that take place at our facilities on weeknights and weekends, fans are instructed to follow the directional signs placed throughout Galvez and Campus Drive to available lots.  Permit lots are open to the public after the enforced parking hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).  El Camino Grove Lot #2 located behind Stanford Stadium serves as the primary lot for all Stanford Athletics' events.  Lot #2 can be accessed by taking Galvez and turning onto Nelson Road (next to Stanford Stadium).

Parking for Visitors with Disabilities

Disabled person placards are honored and accepted in any marked parking stall (permit and metered stalls) as well as all designated blue handicapped spaces located near all of our facility entrances.

Special Permit Lots

Special permits are issued to season ticket holders for football, basketball, and baseball.  These Special Permit Lots are marked with directional signage and only those patrons with permit will be allowed access to the reserved spaces on gamedays.

Driving Directions To The Campus by Automobile

From Highway 101 (North & South)

• Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford.
• At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street as it enters the university.
• Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus.
• Galvez ends at Serra Street.
• The visitor information center is in Memorial Hall, which is across from Hoover Tower on Serra Street.

From Highway 280 (North & South)

• Exit Sand Hill Road east toward Stanford.
• Continue east, turning right at the traffic light on Santa Cruz Avenue.
• Make an immediate left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard.
• Turn left at the second stoplight, Campus Drive East.
• Continue around Campus Drive East and turn left when you reach Serra Street, at the gas station.
• Follow Serra Street until it ends at Galvez Street.
• The visitor information center is in Memorial Hall, which is across from Hoover Tower on Serra Street.

From El Camino Real

• Exit El Camino Real at University Avenue.
• Turn toward the hills (away from the center of Palo Alto).
• As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive.
• Go through one traffic light, and turn left onto Campus Drive at the first stop sign.
• Turn right at Galvez Street, the next stop sign.
• Galvez ends at Serra Street.
• The visitor information center is in Memorial Hall, which is across from Hoover Tower on Serra Street.
