Floyd bio page candid  Floyd VitoCruz arrived on the Farm as a staff physical therapist in the fall of 2009. Working primarily with the football program, Floyd continues to implement detailed and innovative physical therapy protocols, while taking a progressive approach to patient care.  In addition, he currently serves as the clinic's volunteer coordinator, providing oversight for volunteer experiences within the sports medicine clinic.

  His clinical interests include the practical use of technology in patient care, and Floyd works tirelessly to provide his student-athletes with an organized, well-structured approach to rehabilitation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experience: 

Floyd is a California-licensed physical therapist, and a board-certified specialist in sports physical therapy (SCS).  In addition to attending numerous professional development courses, Floyd completed the Maitland manual therapy program focused on Australian-based manual techniques.  He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is also a certified USA Track and Field Level 1 coach.

Education:

Prior to his arrival, Floyd received his bachelor of science in kinesiology, with an emphasis in exercise science, from San Francisco State University. He then attained his master of science in physical therapy from University of California, San Francisco/San Francisco State University.
