The coaching staff is on-site during practices and competitions. Staff Athletic Trainers are on-site during competitions.
Emergency Communication:
A fixed telephone line is available in the Clubhouse and at the driving range. Cellular telephones may or may not work on the course.
Emergency Equipment:
The following equipment is available on-site and is located in the Clubhouse: AED, First Aid supplies. During Cross Country events, an AED, First Aid supplies, vacuum splints, crutches, spine board, and airway management materials are located at the Medical Station.
In the event of an emergency:
1. Provide immediate care of the injured student-athlete or staff member.
2. Activate Emergency Medical Services (EMS) using
a. Fixed Telephone Line: Dial 9-911.
b. Cellular Telephone: Dial 911.
Instruct EMS personnel to "Report to the Clubhouse at the Stanford Golf Course using the main entrance. We have an injured student-athlete/staff member in need of emergency medical treatment. We are located___________. A member of the Sports Medicne Team will meet you in the Clubhouse parking lot and direct you to the scene."
3. Notify Stanford Sports Medicine Staff at Arrillaga Family Sports Center Athletic Training Room by calling (650) 723-1214.
4. Retrieve necessary emergency equipment.
5. Direct EMS to the scene.
a. Open appropriate gates/doors.
b. Designate individual to "flag down" EMS and direct them to the scene.
c. Control the scene - Limit the scene to first responders. Remove bystanders.

Stanford Golf Course is located on Link Road off Junipero Serra Blvd. From the main Stanford Campus, follow Campus Drive Loop West across Junipero Serra Blvd. to Link Road and bear right to Golf Course Clubhouse.
Alternate Route: Follow Campus Drive Loop East, turn Right onto Junipero Serra Blvd. Follow Junipero Serra Blvd to Link Road and turn Left onto Link Road. ON Link Road, brear right to Clubhouse.
