Stanford Women's Water Polo Hosts Scrimmage Tournament Sunday

Fans can get their first look at the 2009 Cardinal squad at scrimmages against San Jose State and UC Davis

STANFORD, Calif. - Cardinal fans will be able to get their first look at the 2009 Stanford women's water polo team this Sunday, as it hosts a scrimmage tournament at Avery Aquatic Center. Also participating in the tournament are San Jose State and UC Davis.

The Cardinal will open up action Sunday at 9:30 a.m., taking on San Jose State. Stanford's second scrimmage of the day is scheduled for 12 p.m. San Jose State and UC Davis will do battle at 2:30 p.m.

Each game will consist of six eight-minute quarters.
