STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford women's water polo will be holding its annual Alumnae Game this Saturday during Homecoming Weekend. The contest is scheduled for 10 am at Avery Aquatic Center.

This year's edition will feature the 2010-11 Cardinal squad taking on an Alumnae team of amazing women who are living exciting post-Stanford lives.

Team Alumnae will stand as an example of the NCAA commercials that highlight the accomplishments of its student-athletes who go on to success in fields other than their sports. Among those playing for Team Alumnae are a Rhodes Scholar, three alumnae who have earned Ph.D's, three who have earned M.D.'s, a pair of MBA's, and three Olympians.

The event will also include players from the first club women's water polo teams at Stanford, who will be celebrating their 30th reunions.
