Stanford Women's Water Polo Lands 10 To ACWPC All-Academic List

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford women's water polo landed 10 student-athletes to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches 2012 All-Academic List, the association announced Friday.

Monica Coughlan, a two-time winner of the NCAA's ELITE 88 Award, was named to the association's highest category, "Outstanding," for having a cumulative grade-point average between 3.71-4.00.

Coughlan and fellow senior Alyssa Lo, who was named to the "Superior" category (GPA between 3.41-3.70), each earned their fourth consecutive selection to the ACWPC's list.

Senior Pallavi Menon was named to the "Excellent" category (3.20-3.40), her third career selection.

Kaitlyn Lo (Superior) and Jillian Garton (Excellent) earned their second career honors, while the first-time selections, all in the "Excellent" category, were Kate Baldoni, Emily Dorst, Ashley Grossman, Victoria Kennedy and Alexis Lee.
