STANFORD, Calif. - Ten Stanford women's water polo student-athletes were honored as the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) released its All-Academic Awards.

Of the ten Cardinal recipients, NCAA ELITE 88 Award winner Monica Coughlan and junior Kim Krueger were honored with the ACWPC's highest recognition of "Outstanding" as each boasted a cumulative grade-point average between 3.71 and 4.00.

Earning "Superior" status, with GPAs in the 3.41-3.70 range were sophomore Mimi Bury and freshman Annika Dries.

Seniors Kelly Eaton, Alex Koran and Jessica Steffens, sophomores Alyssa Lo and Pallavi Menon and freshman Vee Dunlevie all earned "Excellent" status for GPAs between 3.20-3.40.

Krueger earned her third straight selection to the All-Academic List, while for Bury, Coughlan, Eaton, Lo and Steffens the announcement marked their second ACWPC All-Academic honor.

The ten selections helped Stanford to a 26-3 overall record and national runner-up finish in 2010.
