Ellen Estes Named MPSF Mikasa Player of the Week
April 22, 2002 Woodland, Calif. - Stanford women's water polo two-meter Ellen Estes (Novato, CA) has earned MPSF Mikasa Player of the Week for scoring four goals in the Cardinal's 13-5 win over No. 5 San Jose State last Saturday afternoon.
Estes has 27 goals on the season for Stanford, contributing to the Cardinal's 19-1 record and a No. 1 seed for the MPSF Championship Tournament which begins on Friday at the USC McDonald Swim Complex.
