NCAA RULES
(Note that this is just a summary of the rules. Please pay close attention to the ability or inability to return emails, phone calls, off-campus contact)
September 1 (beginning of your junior year of high school):
1. College coaches can begin sending recruiting material and corresponding by e-mail
2. Coaches cannot place a call to a prospective student-athlete or their parent/guardian or return a prospective student-athletes or parent/guardian phone message
3. Coaches cannot make off-campus face-to-face contact
** Please note, NCAA rules permit a prospective student-athlete or parent/guardian to call a college coach or visit a college campus and speak with the coach at anytime. Therefore, the Open House is permitted by NCAA Rules because it is considered an unofficial visit by the prospective student-athlete.
July 1 (after completion of your junior year):
1. College coaches can speak with a prospective student-athlete or their parent/guardian by telephone and off-campus face-to-face contact
