Below are some important NCAA rules and guidelines for interested attendees to keep in mind for the Open House:
(Note that this is just a summary of the rules. Please pay close attention to the ability or inability to return emails and/or phone calls)
September 1 (beginning of your junior year of high school):
1. is when college coaches can begin sending recruiting material and corresponding by e-mail. Coaches cannot place a call to a prospective student-athlete or their parent/guardian, return a call or speak with prospective student-athlete or their parent/guardian face to face off campus.
NCAA rules allow you to call a college coach and to visit their college campus and speak with the coach there. Therefore anyone can attend the Open House.
July 1 (after completion of your junior year):
1. is when college coaches can speak with a prospective student-athlete or their parent/guardian by telephone and in person.
In Summary: if you are a Freshman or Sophomore we are not allowed to return an email or phone call. If we are free we will pick up, otherwise keep trying.
