Four Stanford women's volleyball players have been named to the ASICS/Volleyball Magazine All-America teams, as announced by the publication this week. Sophomores Foluke Akinradewo and Cynthia Barboza were named to the First Team, while junior Bryn Kehoe was named to the Second Team. Senior Kristin Richards earned Honorable Mention.

Akinradewo, a middle blocker, is a two-time All-Pac-10 honoree and two-time AVCA All-America selection. In 2006, Akinradewo led the Cardinal with a .431 hitting percentage, the third-best mark in the nation. Additionally, she paced the Cardinal with 141 blocks to average 1.44 blocks per game. Her 382 kills ranked third on the Stanford squad.

Barboza, an outside hitter, was also a 2006 All-Pac-10 selection, and led the Cardinal with 463 total kills and 4.21 kills per game. She also led the team with 48 service aces and was honored with All-Tournament honors at each of the Cardinal's three preseason tournaments.

Kehoe, the Cardinal's standout setter, is a two-time AVCA All-American who tallied 1,473 assists this season, and averaged 13.39 per game. Also a 2006 All-Pac-10 selection, Kehoe finished third on the squad with 86 blocks.

Richards, an outside hitter, is a two-time AVCA All-American, who earned four All-Pac-10 honors at Stanford. She finished her Cardinal career with a school record 1,584 career digs, also ranking third all-time at Stanford with 1,810 career kills. Richards tallied 397 kills in 2006, ranking second on the Cardinal squad.
