Women's Volleyball will host Preseason BBQ for Fans

Join the team for a meet and greet on Sunday, Aug. 19

Amy Brown enters her third year as the Director of Volleyball Operations. Her responsibilities include marketing and game day presentation, external relations, accounting and travel.

Brown joined the women's volleyball program from the Stanford Athletics marketing department, where she was responsible for marketing efforts and game day presentation for the men's and women's soccer programs and also coordinated Stanford Athletics' community outreach program. Additionally, she assisted with marketing and game day presentation for men's and women's tennis, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Brown previously interned at Wilson Sporting Goods and was the recipient of the Wilson/ITA National Promoter of the Year award.

Brown, who hails from nearby Sunnyvale, Calif., received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Stanford in 2008. She is the granddaughter of legendary Stanford tennis coach Dick Gould and is the fifth generation in her family to attend Stanford, a legacy which reaches back over 100 years.
