Kids Clinic, Cardinal & White Scrimmage Set for August 16

STANFORD, Calif. --- The Stanford women's volleyball program will hold a Kids Clinic and Cardinal & White Scrimmage on Saturday, August 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Maples Pavilion. Admission is free.

The defending national champion Cardinal will hold its intrasquad Cardinal and White Scrimmage from 10 a.m.-noon, followed by a chalk talk by head coach Don Shaw. A clinic for all children 14-and-under will follow with 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m., with three-time All-American Kristin Folkl teaching hitting, two-time All-American Lisa Sharpley setting, All-American Kerri Walsh jump serving and Jaimi Gregory digging.

The afternoon concludes with an autograph session with the entire Stanford team from 1:30 p.m.-2 p.m. All those attending will also receive a free 1997 Stanford women's volleyball poster.
