STANFORD, Calif.- Both Stanford tennis teams are back in action this weekend, competing in local tournaments as their respective fall seasons continue.

Jamin Ball, Daniel Ho, Walker Kehrer and Robert Stineman will represent the men's team at the Battle in the Bay Classic, scheduled for Oct. 12-16 and hosted by the University of San Francisco at the California Tennis Club.

This year's main draw at the Battle in the Bay Classic has been expanded to 32 players from 16 players in 2010, thanks to increased interest in the tournament. Additionally, 16 doubles teams will be in action. Among the schools represented are three-time defending NCAA champion USC, California, Pepperdine, San Diego, Saint Mary's and Boise State.

Members of the women's squad will be competing across the bay at the Saint Mary's Invitational from Oct. 14-16. Participating in the tournament will be Elizabeth Ecker, Amelia Herring, Veronica Li and Ellen Tsay.
