Burdette defeated fellow American Jessica Pegula 6-3, 6-0 on Sunday afternoon to capture the singles crown at the 10th annual Odlum Brown Vancouver Open ($200,000 USTA Pro Circuit event) in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

With today's victory, Burdette earned a main draw wild card in this year's U.S. Open, scheduled for Aug. 27-Sept. 9.
