Stanford'S Ashley-Kremer Capture 1997 Northwest Rolex Regional Doubles Title

Anne Kremer and her doubles teammate Teryn Ashley won the Doubles Championship.

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford's Teryn Ashley and Anne Kremer topped teammates Julie Scott and Ania Bleszynski 6-3, 6-1 for the 1997 Women's Northwest Rolex Regional double title. Scott and Bleszynski were the tournament's No. 1 seeded doubles team and are currently ranked third in the nation. The win completed a sweep of the tournament's titles as Scott defeated Ashley a day earlier for the singles title.
