AUSTIN, Texas - The women's tennis team defeated the University of Texas, 5-1, in dual-match action Saturday. The Cardinal improves to a perfect 18-0 with the win.

Anne Kremer, Julie Scott, Ania Bleszynski, Sarah Postleau and Jennifer Heiser all took wins for Stanford. 13th-ranked Teryn Ashley was upset by Texas' Michelle Faucher.

Stanford next heads to Southern california to face UCLA April 3 at 1:30 p.m.and USC April 4 at 12:00 p.m.
