2000-01 (Junior): Finished 39-4 overall and 27-0 in dual match play ... Advanced to the NCAA singles championship, but fell to teammate Laura Granville 7-6, 6-3 in the final ... Finished with a final singles ranking of No. 4 nationally ... ITA Singles All-American ... First Team All Pac-10 selection ... A Second Team All Pac-10 selection, Kalvaria reached the singles and doubles final of the Northwest Regional Championships, and for the first time, she took part in the ITA National Indoor Championships, where she reached the semifinals ... Began the spring ranked No. 36 in singles and No. 14 in doubles with Gabriela Lastra ... The duo reached the finals of the Northwest Regional Championships as the top seed ... Lost in the finals to Laura Granville and Keiko Tokuda, 7-5, 6-1 ... Qualified for the main draw of the Riviera All-American Championships ... Went 6-0 in the NCAA team championship ... Had Top 25 victories over No. 17 Anita Kurimay of California and No. 22 Stephanie Hazlett of Florida in the NCAA Championship tournament ... Won 16 straight matches to conclude the year ... Went 6-2 versus ranked opponents and 2-2 versus Top 25 opponents ... Advanced to the fourth round of her first collegiate tournament, the ITA Regional... Defeated Melissa Pine of Washington State 6-0, 6-4 and Laura Botts of Washington 6-3, 7-5 before falling to fourth seed Kristina Kraszewski of Washington 6-2, 6-2... In doubles competition at the ITA Regional, seeded fourth with Gabriela Lastra, but lost in the second round to La'O/Mayes of California 8-4... Completed the fall season with a 2-1 record.
Prior to Stanford: Runner up in the 1998 Easter Bowl to future teammate Marissa Irvin... Seeded second at the Girls 18-&-Under Nationals during the summer of 1998... Ranked second in the country in the 16-&-Under division in 1997... As a junior, teamed with future teammate Gabriela Lastra to be the No. 2-ranked team in the country in 1997 doubles competition... Was valedictorian of her high school class.
