Linda Gates Morris enters her second year as a volunteer assistant coach with the Cardinal.

A four-time All-American during her Stanford playing career from 1982-85, Gates Morris enjoyed an impressive career during her time on The Farm. She was crowned the NCAA singles champion as a senior in 1985 in addition to winning the NCAA doubles championship in back-to-back seasons (1984-85). Gates Morris was also the NCAA singles runner-up in 1984 and NCAA doubles runner-up in 1983. Gates Morris concluded her career with a dual match record of 68-19.

Prior to arriving at Stanford, Gates Morris served as a volunteer assistant coach at Santa Clara from 1997-99.
