STANFORD, Calif. - Five Stanford synchronized swimmers are headed to Greensboro, N.C., this weekend for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, held Nov. 11-14 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

Representing the Cardinal are Morgan Fuller, Megan Hansley, Maria Koroleva, Michelle Moore and Olivia Morgan.

Swimming and capturing a silver medal for the U.S. at the 2011 Pan Am Games were Fuller, Hansley, Koroleva and Moore. Koroleva also took home a silver medeal in the duet competition with partner Mary Killman.

The U.S. team will compete in an Olympic Qualification Tournament in London on April 18-22, 2012, for a chance to qualify for a berth in the team and duet competitions for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Fourteen swimmers will advance on Saturday, with the nine-member U.S. national team and duet announced on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Performances by the new U.S. Olympic team will follow.
