STANFORD, Calif. - Four Stanford synchronized swimmers have been selected to the United States roster for the 2011 Pan American Games held Oct. 23-29 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Megan Hansley, Morgan Fuller, Maria Koroleva and Michelle Moore are the four Cardinal swimmers to be named to the U.S. roster of nine athletes. Koroleva also qualified for the duet competition at the Pan Am trials, which were held Aug. 13-15.

"Out of a team of nine athletes, it is impressive and exciting to have four of them come from Stanford," Cardinal head coach Heather Olson said.

There will be 42 countries present at the Pan Am games in Guadalajara. The synchronized swimming competitions are slated for Oct. 18-21 with 80 athletes competing in the sport.
