U.S. Olympic Duet in First Place at Swiss Open

STANFORD, Calif. - The U.S. Olympic synchronized swimming duet of Maria Koroleva and Mary Killman is in first place after the technical routine Thursday at the Swiss Open.

The U.S. duet leads with 86.30 points. Kazakhstan's Anna Kulkina and Aigerim Zhekembinova are in second place with 84.70 points, and Switzerland's Pamela Fischer and Anja Nyfferler are third with 84.00.

Mexico (Isabel Delgado, Nuria Diosdad) and Hungary (Esated Czekus, Szofi Kiss) are in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

All of the top five duets will compete at the London Games on Aug. 5-7.

The free routine is scheduled for Sunday, July 1.
