STANFORD, Calif. - The U.S. Olympic synchronized swimming duet of Maria Koroleva and Mary Killman took fourth place at the Spanish Open on June 23.
Koroleva and Killman scored 86.490 points on their new free routine in Saturday's finals. The pair totaled 173.811 points on their free (86.910) and technical (86.901) routines on Friday.
The Spanish duet of Andrea Fuentes and Ona Carbonell won the event, with Great Britain's Olivia Federici and Jenna Randall taking second and France's Sara Labrousse and Chloe Willhelm finishing third.
The U.S. duet will next see action at the Swiss Open in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 27-July 1.
Koroleva and Killman will compete at the Olympic Games in London on Aug. 5-7.
