Stanford synchronized swimming will head to Tucson, Arizona on March 20-22 for the 2003 Collegiate Nationals. Competition will be held in the University of Arizona Recreation Center Pool on campus, beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Despite losing two members of the team to the Olympic squad, Stanford is in contention for the gold this season and have the opportunity to place first in all four events.
Competition will begin on Thursday morning with solo routines and the event will conclude with team finals on Saturday. Freshman Ashley McHugh will be the one solo entrant, but she will also compete with senior Stephanie Joukoff and junior Jennifer Kibler on a trio team. Stanford's second trio will be sophomore Shella Sadovnik, senior Ashley Ensign and freshman Cassidy Ramage. Joukoff and Kibler will compete for points as a duet, as will Sadovnik and Ramage.
The team routine will also feature junior Joanne Taylor and junior Amanda Graff-Baker.
Fans can see the Cardinal before the team heads to Nationals on March 15th when Stanford will perform for the last time at home in 2003. The exhibition will begin at noon.

2pm - 4pm: Team Finals
