TUCSON, Ariz. - The Stanford synchronized swimming team defeated the University of Arizona, Saturday, in Tucson, Ariz. The Cardinal swept all for events against the Wildcats.

The meet began with the trio event, where Stanford swept the top-three finishes. Madison Crocker, Morgan Fuller and Olivia Morgan finished first for the Cardinal with a score of 87.667. Alex Bollaidlaw, Jessica Guenther and Maria Koroleva took second with an 85.000, while Corinne Smith, Koko Urata and Wendy Lu placed third (82.667).

Koroleva and Morgan are undefeated this year as a duet as they scored an 88.333. Finishing behind the pair Saturday was Croker and Fuller with a score of 87.667. Senior Gayle Lee won the solo competition, scoring an 86.333.

In the team final, Stanford finished ahead of the Wildcats with a 90.000. Swimming for the Cardinal was Bollaidlaw, Crocker, Fuller, Guenther, Lu, Morgan, Smith and Urata.

Stanford now heads to Tempe, Ariz., for the West Regional against Arizona State and Arizona.
