STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford synchronized swimming team plays host to Lindenwood University on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17-18, at the Avery Aquatics Center.

The teams are scheduled to compete at 2 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on Saturday. All regular-season synchronized swimming events are free to the public.

The Cardinal is coming off a home-opening win over the University of Incarnate Word last weekend. Stanford placed first in the duet and trio, while taking second in the team and solo routines.

Lindenwood University has opened the 2012 season with a second-place finish at the Lindenwood Invitational and took third place at the Canisius Invitational in Buffalo, N.Y.

Stanford will wrap-up the home portion of its schedule next Saturday, Feb. 25 versus the University of Arizona. The teams will take the pool at 3 p.m. PT.
