STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford synchronized swimming team will head to San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, Feb. 16 for a competition with the University of Incarnate Word and Lindenwood University.

Stanford opened the 2013 season at Lindenwood University on Jan. 25-26. Swimming for the Cardinal in the team competition were seniors Madison Crocker, Morgan Fuller, Mariya Koroleva, Michelle Moore and Olivia Morgan, juniors Megan Hansley and Leigh Haldeman and freshman Evelyna Wang. In the duet, Hansley and Morgan teamed up to capture first place, while Crocker and Fuller came in second for the Cardinal.

The Cardinal also hosted an exhibition swim on Feb. 9 at the Avery Aquatic Center on the Stanford campus.

After this weekend, Stanford will head to Mesa, Ariz., for a two-day competition against Arizona State and Lindenwood on Feb. 23-24. The Cardinal will host the Western Regionals on March 2-3 and the U.S. Collegiate Nationals, March 21-23.
