STANFORD, Calif.- The Stanford synchronized swimming program was recently featured in the fifth edition of "19 Hours", the latest in a long line of newly-formed creative video initiatives designed to showcase each of the department's 35 varsity sports.

Developed by "The Cardinal Channel", the exclusive video network of Stanford Athletics, the "19 Hours" project provides every team 19 hours of total production time to create one video to publicize their program. Student-athletes from each sport are charged with establishing a unique theme or concept for a video.

The synchro program is the fifth team to complete its "19 Hours" video, producing a creative short film. The team's video debunks myths surrounding synchronized swimmers in a particularly sarcastic way. The Cardinal Channel's Kevin Danna stars alongside the synchro team in the video as Niegyl Colin.
