FINA Short Course World Championships - 100 IM

ISTANBUL, Turkey - Maya DiRado clocked a 1:01.07 to finish 15th in the women's 100m individual medley Thursday's during the FINA Short Course World Championships held at Sinan Erdem Arena.

Despite the effort, the Stanford junior swimmer's semifinal swim was not enough to advance to the finals. Alia Atkinson (58.94) of Jamaica and China's Jing Zhao (59.12) were the top two performers in the event heading into the finals.

DiRado resumes competition Saturday in the 200m individual medley.
