First half of season nearly in the books for Cardinal

STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford women's and diving program looks to put the finishing touches on the fall portion of its 2012-13 season by heading to the Ohio State Invitational this weekend in Columbus, Ohio. The championship-format meet will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 1 at Ohio State's McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

The Cardinal will be one of nine teams at the invitational and the lone Pac-12 Conference program.

Among the nine teams will be Texas and Wisconsin, both of whom Stanford faced earlier this season in dual meet competition.

Maddy Schaefer posted three wins in Stanford's 159-130 win over the Badgers, and Texas handed the Cardinal a 151.5-148.5 defeat in a meet that came down to the final relay.
