STANFORD, Calif-- Call it a Stanford All-Star team, ready to compete, as both men's and women's swim teams will combine American swimmers from the past and present to compete at the Conocco Phillips U.S. National Championships at Stanford's Avery Aquatics Center from August 2 to 6.

Stanford is expected to have three dozen athletes at the championships, including NCAA Champions Elaine Breeden, and Julia Smit, Pac-10 Freshman of the Year Maya DiRado, and All-Americans Curtis Lovelace, Bobby Bollier, David Mosko, Liz Smith and Kate Dwelley. Stanford is expected to have 20 men and 15 women at the event next week.

Olympic gold medalists Jason Lezak, Ryan Lochte and Peter Vanderkaay are also slated to be in attendence. Swimmers from other foreign countries will also swim in the morning only.

One swimmer who will not be taking place in the championships is distance great Chad La Tourette, who this week has reached the A Finals in the 800 freestyle (sixth) and who will also swim in the 1500 freestyle.

Tickets can be purchased off the gostanford.com website at:  Prices range from $75/$55 for the entire session, to $20/$10 for the day and $15/$8 for the session. Prelims begin at 9 a.m and finals are at 6 p.m.

Along with selecting the year’s USA Swimming National Champions, the event will serve as the selection meet for the 2011 Pan American Games, set for October 15-22 in Guadalajara, Mexico, and the 2011 FINA World Junior Championships, set for August 16-21 in Lima, Peru
