2013 NCAA Championships - Psych Sheet
STANFORD, Calif. -
The NCAA released its list of invited swimmers for the 2013 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships set for March 21-23 in Indianapolis. Ten individuals will represent Stanford at the national meet.
Stanford's diving representatives will be determined after the NCAA Zone Diving Championships (March 14-16) in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Cardinal also qualified for each of the five relays: 200 free (1:28.86), 400 free (3:12.63), 800 free (6:57.12), 200 medley (1:36.54) and 400 medley (3:32.06).
Maddy Schaefer secured bids in the 50 free (22.12), 100 free (47.85) and 100 back (52.85).
Andi Murez's three qualifying performances came in the 50 free (22.25), 100 free (47.86) and 200 free (1:44.42). Murez ranks seventh nationally in the 200 free.
Schaefer is third among NCAA swimmers in the 100 free and Murez ranks fourth.
Maya DiRado qualified for the 200 IM (1:55.44), 400 IM (4:00.58) and 200 back (1:51.65). DiRado has the nation's second-fastest time in the 400 IM and sixth-best 200 back time.
Felicia Lee will compete in the 100 fly (52.32), 100 back (51.63) and 200 back (1:54.24). Lee enters the meet with the fourth-fastest 100 back performance on the season.
Julia Anderson will swim the 200 free (1:45.53).
Sarah Haase went 59.39 in the 100 breast for the 10-seed in the event.
Annemarie Thayer will swim in the 100 back (52.93) and Mary Olsen qualified for the 100 breast (1:00.18) and 200 breast (2:09.91).
Andie Taylor qualified for the 400 IM (4:07.82) and 1,650 free (16:13.82).
Allison Brown received a bid to compete in the 500 free (4:42.96).
Stanford earned its 19th team title last week at the 2013 Pac-12 Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Wash. The Cardinal has now won three of the last four Pac-12 crowns.
Stanford finished the regular season with a 7-2 record in dual meet competition. The Cardinal was ranked fourth in the final regular-season top 25 poll.
