STANFORD, Calif.-- Andie Taylor picked up two wins on Saturday morning as Stanford won 17 of 21 events at the two-day Haines Invitational, swimming long course during the morning sessions and the short course on Friday evening.
Taylor won the 200-meter free with a time of 2:05.22 ahead of teammate Felicia Lee (2:06.10), who won five events yesterday. Taylor also won the 200-meter fly (2:18.63) ahead of Kirstie Chen (2:21.58).
Stephanie Phipps continued her undefeated season, winning the one-meter against co-host San Jose State, Nevada and Hawaii, scoring 277.00. Phipps swept both the one and three-meter springboard against SJSU to open the season and won the three-meter on Friday.
Also winning on Saturday was Maya DiRado, who won the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:20.35 ahead of Taylor (2:24.97).
Both men's and women's teams host its alumni in a meet at 9 a.m next Saturday as a part of Homecoming Weekend.
