As a Junior in 2007-08: Earned her second consecutive All-America honor in the 200 fly, finishing 16th at the NCAA Championships with a time of 1:58.30...that effort placed her second among the Cardinal's 200 fly swimmers during the season...had a solid showing at the Pac-10 Championships with a pair of top-10 finishes...placed sixth in the 200 back (1:58.56) and eighth in the 200 fly (2:01.01)...also finished 16th in the 100 fly (54.34)...was Stanford's second-fastest swimmer in the 200 back with a season-best time of 1:58.28...earned honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic accolades.
As a Sophomore in 2006-07: Became an All-American for the first time following her effort at the NCAA Championships...finished 15th in the 200 fly with a time of 1:58.77...swam in three event finals at the Pac-10 Championships, placing eighth in the 200 back (2:00.05), 11th in the 100 fly (54.60) and 12th in the 200 fly (2:01.63)...was named to the Pac-10 All-Academic second team.
As a Freshman in 2005-06: Wrapped up her freshman season by swimming in three finals at the Pac-10 Championships...placed seventh in the 100 fly (54.77), 10th in the 200 back (1:59.77) and 18th in the 200 fly (2:02.53).
National Competition Highlights: Competed at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials, including a pair of top 30 finishes...placed 21st in the 200-meter fly (2:12.99) and 24th in the 100 fly (1:00.33)...also competed in the 100 back...swam at four consecutive Summer Senior Nationals from 2004-07.
High School, Club and Personal Data: Daughter of William Wadden IV and Mary Pierson...graduated from Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Ill., where she was coached by Kevin Auger...swam for the Wildkit Swimming Organization under coach Kevin Auger...majoring in political science.
