General: Has developed into a consistent scorer at the Pac-10 level and hoping to qualify for the NCAA's for the first time in her collegiate career in her senior season A hard worker who is a favorite of her teammates and coaches.
Cardinal Career: Had her best season to date as a junior, posting collegiate career-best point totals in all six diving categories and capping it off with a fifth-place finish in the platform at the Pac-10 Championships.
As A Junior In 2003-04: Had a nice campaign with collegiate personal-bests in all six diving categories Posted her best Pac-10 finish ever by taking fifth in the platform diving competition at the Pac-10 Championship with a personal-best 369.10 points Was also 10th in the 1-meter (231.40) and 14th in the 3-meter (381.70) at the Pac-10's Tied for ninth in the platform (323.25) at the NCAA Zone E Meet, while taking 14th in the 3-meter (personal-best 405.80) and 17th in the 1-meter (personal-best 429.30) Had top regular season finishes of third-place in the 1-meter in a non-conference meet versus California as well as a non-scoring fourth-place effort in the 3-meter at USC.
As A Sophomore In 2002-03: Finished 15th in the 1-meter (218.70 prelims) and platform (316.40 prelims), as well as 23rd in the 3-meter (369.85 prelims) at the Pac-10 Championships Second Team Pac-10 All-Academic.
As A Freshman In 2001-02: Finished 19th in the 1-meter (206.50 prelims), 20th in the platform (274.55 prelims) and 23rd in the 3-meter (327.25 prelims) at the Pac-10 Championships Top regular season showings were a pair of seventh-place finishes in the 1-meter (226.65) versus Arizona and the 3-meter (206.32) against California.
International Competition: Finished in the Top 12 at the 1998 Grand Prix du Muguet in France.
National Competition: A four-time Junior Nationals and six-time East Junior Nationals qualifier YMCA national champion in 2000 and 2001 in the 1-meter, and second-place in the 3-meter the same two years while competing with Whirlwind Diving, winners of the YMCA national title for five straight years from 1997-2001.
High School: A 2001 graduate of Horace Greeley High School A four-time section champion An honorable mention All-American and eighth-place state finisher as a senior Named to her All-Section and All-League teams four times each Set a school point record for six and 11 dives as a freshman and then later broke her own record for 11 dives as a senior Team won four straight sectional titles Coached by Chuck Sehulster Also participated in track and field for one season, earning Academic All-American honors National Merit finalist.
Club: Primary diving team was Whirlwind Diving but has also dove for Triple Lindy Diving and Flip N Rip Diving Coached by Joe Somma (Whirlwind), Clark Falkenstein (Triple Lindy) and Maria Coomeraswamy (Flip N Rip).
Coaching Staff On Lashnits: "Erin has been a joy to coach in her first three years at Stanford. Her attitude is infectious and helps everyone on the team.
