CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Stanford's squash team defeated Dartmouth in the final match of the season Sunday by a score of 9-0. The win in the 7/8 play-off match at the College Squash Association Nationals-Howe Cup gave the Cardinal a season record of 10-7.

The contest was closer than the final score indicated as Julie Koenig, Madeleine Gill, Aditi Maliwal and Kerrie Sample needed five games to win their matches.

Kathryn Corelli won her match in four close games with the Cardinal sweeping the other four matches.

Corelli, Maliwal, and Kyla Sherwood finished their Stanford squash careers with victories. Senior Leah Stork did not compete.

No member of the team finished with a losing record on the season.

For a short while, coach Mark Talbott will turn his attention to Xtreme Squash, an after-school enrichment program that combines squash with an innovative academic program for middle school students.
