CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - No. 6 Stanford squash fell to No. 3 Princeton Friday by a score of 8-1 in the opening round of the College Squash Association Nationals-Howe Cup. The Cardinal will face Cornell, who lost to Yale 9-0, in the consolation bracket tomorrow.

No. 1 seed Pamela Chua defeated Julie Cerullo 3-0 for the lone Stanford win of the day.

Kerrie Sample and Kyla Sherwood extended their matches to five games in defeat.

Kathryn Corelli, Madeleine Gill and Alexandra Huchro lost in four games.
