NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The sixth-ranked Stanford Cardinal dropped a 6-3 decision to the third-ranked Yale Bulldogs Saturday at the Yale Round Robin in New Haven Conn.

Stanford was swept in straight games in positions 1-4, however, Cecilia Haig, Julie Koenig and Kathryn Corelli posted wins at the No. 5, No. 8 and No. 9 positions, repectively.

Haig posted a straight set win over Alexandra Van Arkel, 11-9, 11-8 and 11-8 while Koenig and Corelli won their matches in four sets. Koenig outlasted Aly Kerr, 11-8, 11-6, 7-11 and 13-11 while Corelli downed Katie Harrison, 11-6, 9-11, 11-9 and 11-8.

Stanford will be in action on Sunday, taking on Mount Holyoke and Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
