NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sixth-ranked Stanford squash took two of three matches over the weekend to improve its season record to 8-3. The Cardinal defeated No. 14 George Washington 9-0 and No. 23 Connecticut College 9-0. Stanford was shutout by No. 5 Trinity College, 9-0.

"The team played well," said head coach Mark Talbott. "We're struggling with a few injuries and hopefully we'll be healthy for the Howe Cup next month."

Stanford took three of five matches on the road trip.
