Hartford, Conn. - No. 7 Stanford fell to No. 4 Trinity College by a 7-2 decision Sunday to wrap up its East Coast road trip.

The Cardinal was led by Madeleine Gill and Carolyn Gillette who recorded the team's two victories.

Kerrie Sample also had a strong showing for the Cardinal, dropping a close match in the second position, 3-2.

Stanford finished its East Coast trip with a 4-2 record.

The Cardinal will see its next action Feb. 1 when it heads back East to take on Princeton.
