STANFORD, Calif. - Due to incoming inclement weather and travel concerns, the Stanford-UC Davis softball game originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 1, at 3 p.m.

The Cardinal will host the Stanford Louisville Slugger Classic, March 8-10 at Smith Family Stadium. Participating teams include Flordia Gulf Coast, Minnesota and Pacific. The tournament gets underway on Friday at 10 a.m. with Pacific taking on Minnesota.

It will also be a homecoming of sorts for Minnesota head coach Jessica Allister, who was a catcher for Stanford from 2001-04. She was a member of both of the Cardinal's Women's College World Series teams ('01 & '04) and was an All-American as a senior. She also served as an assistant coach at Stanford from 2007-09.
