Softball Losses First Game of Tournament to Long Beach State.

Cardinal lose 3-2 in opener of Cal State Fullerton Showcase.

Stanford's sfotball team tripped over Long Beach State 3-2 on Friday. The game was the first of the Cal State Fullerton Showcase Tournament. The Cardinal fall to 6-2, while the 49ers improve to 9-3. Marcy Crouch was all over the place for the Cardinal, going 2-for-3, driving in all three runs and homering. She also piched six and a third innings, striking out three. The Cardinal will play San Diego State later on Friday.
