The No. 1-ranked Stanford women's soccer team will play host to Florida State in an NCAA quarterfinal on Friday at 7 p.m. at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium, the NCAA announced Saturday night.

This will be the final home match for Stanford (21-0-2), which needs one more victory to advance to the NCAA College Cup, Dec. 3-5, in Cary, N.C.

The Cardinal, seeded No. 1 in its 16-team tournament quadrant, advanced by beating UCLA, 3-0, in the rain Friday.

Florida State (16-5-1) is ranked No. 11 in the final NSCAA coaches' regular-season rankings and is the No. 2 seed in the quadrant. The Seminoles advanced by beating visiting Marquette, 3-0, on Saturday.

The winner plays the Boston College-Washington winner in the College Cup semifinals Dec. 3.
