STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford women's soccer team has announced a five-match schedule for the spring season.
Stanford will play three of the matches at home, beginning with an April 14 contest against Cal State Fullerton.
Stanford also plays Cal, Santa Clara, and a pair against the semipro Sacramento Storm.
Stanford returns seven starters and five who have received All-America recognition from a team that went 26-0-1 last season and beat Duke, 1-0, in the NCAA College Cup final on Dec. 4, in Kennesaw, Ga.
The spring season will enable the Cardinal to adjust to life without Hermann Trophy winner Teresa Noyola, Soccer America Player of the Year Lindsay Taylor, NSCAA first-team All-America Camille Levin, and College Cup All-Tournament selection Kristy Zurmuhlen.
