Stanford Trio Qualifies for U-20 World Cup

A goal by Teresa Noyola (above) and a Rachel Quon assist added up to a winning formula for the United States in a 2-1 victory over Costa Rica that pushed the team through to the Under-20 World Cup. Stanford teammate Alina Garciamendez will be there too after her Mexican side advanced as well.

Three Stanford soccer teammates (including Rachel Quon, above) took the same field, but for different sides on Monday in the United States' 2-1 victory over Mexico in the CONCACAF Under-20 Women's Championship.
