Brooke McKenzie Named Lacrosse Assistant Coach
W. Lacrosse | 7/22/2008 First-year head coach Amy Bokker has announced the hiring of Brooke McKenzie as an assistant coach with the Stanford lacrosse program. McKenzie had served as an assistant coach for the previous two seasons at George Mason under Bokker, who was named the Cardinal's head coach in June. McKenzie joined the George Mason staff prior to 2007 after graduating from James Madison, where she was a four-year starter from 2002-2006 and team captain her final season. >> Read More

W. Lacrosse | 5/3/2008 No. 20 Stanford held off No. 17 Denver 9-8 to capture their fourth straight MPSF Tournament Championship. Senior Laura Shane stopped a free position shot by Denver attacker Karen Morton with nine seconds left to preserve the one goal lead.
