STANFORD, Calif. - Eight Cardinal lacrosse players were honored by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation by earning MPSF All-Academic honors.

Seniors that are being honored for the third time included Catherine Swanson, Anna Boeri, Emilie Boeri and Maria Fortino. Swanson leads the group, compiling a 3.635 GPA in a season where she tied the Stanford record for draw controls.

Juniors Carolyn Bradley and Elizabeth Adam were each named to the team for the second time, while sophomores Nina Swanson and Annie Anton earned their first MPSF Academic recognition.

The Cardinal completed the 2012 season with a record of 8-10 and lost to Oregon in the MPSF Championship Game.
