Full IWLCA All-Region Teams

STANFORD, Calif. -- Stanford's Emilie Boeri was honored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Thursday when the All-Region teams were announced. Boeri was named to the West/Mid-West Region second team.

Boeri led Stanford in both goals and assists in 2011, scoring 40 goals, and tallying 23 assists. Her 63 points on the season were good for third best in Stanford history. The senior was a first team All-MPSF selection and was named National Player of the Week by WomensLax.com back in February.

This was the first career IWLCA honor for Boeri. Last season the Cardinal had three first team and three second team honorees.

The Cardinal finished the season 8-10 and were narrowly defeated by Oregon in the MPSF Championship Game to miss the NCAA tournament.
