STANFORD, Calif. - Senior Abbi Hills of the Stanford University women's lacrosse team was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the week for her performance during the week of March 22-28th. Hills led Stanford to a 3-0 record and helped the Cardinal clinch the No. 1 seed in the upcoming MPSF women's lacrosse Championship.

For the week, Hills scored an amazing 11 goals, including six in Stanford's big 16-5 win over Denver, which clinched the top seed in the MPSF Championship. Earlier in the week, the Lakewood, CO native found the back of the cage three times in Stanford's 14-10 home win versus Ohio, and added two more goals in the Cardinal's 9-8 overtime win over Hofstra,

Hills' MPSF honor is the first by a Cardinal player this season and the three-game win streak ties the season-high. The Cardinal will look to make it four-in-a-row when they host the California Bears on Friday, April 2nd at 7:30 pm at Maloney Field.
