STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford women's lacrosse junior Rachel Ozer was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 26-March 4, as announced by the conference Monday.

Ozer led Stanford (2-1) to a 12-10 victory at No. 13 Ohio State this past Saturday, scoring a team-high four goals in the first 21 minutes of game. Ozer scored her first goal less than two minutes into the match that sparked a 4-0 Stanford run. The Cardinal would lead by at least two goals the remainder of the game.

Ozer has been an offensive force this season, racking up 13 points on eight goals and five assists in just three games - all against teams ranked or receiving votes in the IWLCA top 20.

Ozer is the first Stanford athlete to receive an MPSF Player of the Week honor this season.

Stanford will look to continue its strong start on Tuesday, March 5 at 4 p.m. (PT) as it takes on No. 11 Georgetown at Larid Q. Cagan Stadium.
